1987 Bentley Continental Convertible

1987 Bentley Continental Convertible, S/N SCBZD42A7HCX16755, Brewster green with tan hides and tan Everflex hood.  Fuel injected 6.75 litre V8 with automatic transmission, as it should be.  Coachwork by Mulliner Park Ward.  Sold new in New York City, 1987.  These motorcars were the last of the breed…handmade, old-school and every inch reeks of English craftsmanship and the 1980’s and earlier.  Connolly hides, Wilton carpeting and walnut veneer throughout set the stage and the extreme British color combo, “Flying B” and the in-door flask and shot glasses complete the package.  A supreme touring car with V8 power, timeless lines and the feeling of a bygone era, this car is a must for a collector or someone wanting a bluechip motorcar that will stand the test of time.  In 2007, the car was treated to a bare metal repainting in original color, complete new leather interior and top and a wonderful vetting of all mechanical systems.  Today this Continental, presented like new throughout, is ready for it’s next 30 year journey and the stories that will be made in it.  One of only 430 built worldwide. *Odometer discrepency recorded in 2006.
